May has been a busy month for the prevention team. Two community awareness days, one school awareness day, one school workshop, four days of surveys and a soccer tournament.
The team has really improved with their team work and have focused more on completing the surveys fully.
Nomnikelo resigned from the team. She gave reasons but wasn't willing to talk about them or come to the prevention team meeting to resolve the issues.

The prevention team had two days of pre-surveys for w25. The team however, is not taking these surveys seriously and will have their last workshop on how to do these surveys correctly. Gracie will also be the one to collect as soon as they are finished, going over the surveys before they can finish. If people are still not filling them in correctly, they will be asked to stay home the next surveys and Gracie will find other people to do this job.
There are two days of post surveys for w23 coming up this week. This is the last opportunity for people to do a job well done before Gracie starts replacing people.
There will be a big prevention team meeting on Jan 4th. We will go over surveys, job descriptions, issues within the group and their immediate coordinators, expectations while Gracie is out on leave and then they will take an HIV exam that Gracie wrote. She wants to see who knows how to read and write effectively and how much the team knows on HIV.
Gracie is leaving for the USA on Jan 12th and will return the 16th of Feb.
